CHRISTIANS PRIORITISE
People spend more time and money on the maintainence of their outward appearance, facade, than on the Word of God; worldly perishable things, or your eternity ?
“Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
Matthew 6:19-21 NLT
MOTIVES & PRIORITY
Worldly perishable things include your body, wealth, basically all your possessions. Your outward appearance is transformed by your inside-out transformation 1st, as a result of your intimate relationship with the Word, then only you talk about the outside-in transformation. People are attracted by other people’s body transformation. Nothing wrong with driving big cars, having big houses, or beautiful body but your motives and sequence/ priority must be right, seek Him first the kingdom of God principle must be at the forefront of your life decision, meaning allowing the Word of God to work in you, then through you. THEN ONLY you can discern whether the external information is allowed to influence you from outside-in. A transformation is not a transformation if it is not a sustainable God-pleasing transformation.
SINNER’S PRAYER IS NOT ENOUGH
Unless you are the thief who was hung beside Jesus Christ, do not be fooled into thinking that your sinner’s prayer is enough to gain access to the Marriage Feast. Once saved is NOT always saved. The proof is in the parable of the 10 bridesmaids. The 5 bridesmaids are caught off guard when they think business as usual, doing, perhaps everything that God asked. Is it so ?
“But the others replied, ‘We don’t have enough for all of us. Go to a shop and buy some for yourselves.’
Matthew 25:9 NLT
When God was walking on Earth, the targeted audience for this parable of the 10 bridesmaids was for the pharisees, the scribes and the sadducee, who missed the crucial relationship with the Word, even though they claimed their God was a relational God.
But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’ Matthew 7:23
God instructs us to constantly work hard to show the results of our salvation –
Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
Philippians 2:12 -13
God showed me a phrase written by someone,
DO NOT WISH FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH, WORK FOR IT !
IS SALVATION FREE ?
Salvation is definitely NOT free. It cost the life of the Son of God.
To some, salvation has been taken lightly as a free thing … for granted. Analogy is, though YFBRC has a free coaching package, but at the expense of hundreds of manhour, designing, building, maintaining, improving, because i strongly believe that YFBRC is one of God’s Last Days’ efforts to remind Christians to read the Word, the beginning of an eternal relationship with God. Understanding the parable of the 10 bridesmaids should tell you the urgency of having this relationship with the Word, is your one & only salvation from eternal condemnation of heaven alternative.
Sign up with YFBRC. Recommit to the journey with Him again, perhaps, this time, with a paid YFBRC service, if the free coaching service does not work for you. It is more for your benefit than mine. It is a tragedy if you are a Christian who is so close to heaven, and yet cannot enter heaven, just like the other 5 bridesmaids. It is not only me who wants you to know this, someone else wants you to have a relationship with the Word. Please read the last paragraph of this article.
WHY AM i WRITING AGAIN ?
Stopped posting for more than 1 month in Sept 2020. Shut myself from any thought, though the urge to write rose at the valley; cannot shut God’s prompting. Undoing a knot from a choked heart was difficult. The Holy Spirit helped me to process it, one by one. Though no regrets, but dismantling something i built with effort and resources was a disheartening situation. Not a victim of this pandemic, but a victor who was undergoing an endurance test. Besides, God has never ever promised us a trouble-free world after believing in Him.
I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.
John 16:33 NLT
i have learnt to accept that, because of our fallen nature, trials and sorrows are the unavoidable ingredient & “necessary devil” for spiritual, physical and mental growth. This is where endurance comes in.
14th Oct 2020 – At the tail end of this season, i received a note from a YFBRC reader …
“Coach I had banked in RM100 for YFBRC mission to encourage people to read the Word. I am one of those who benefit from YFBRC. Thank you Coach.”
Speechless. Touched.
i almost broke down and cry. For the 1st time, i received a sponsor for writing for the world, includes you in this community. 14th Nov 2020 and 2nd Dec 2020, i received the same note from the same reader. During this time, God also showed me this timely and touching words which He told Peter more than 2000 years ago,
…“Then feed my sheep.” John 21:17
